AMBEWELA FARM 🇱🇰
Ambewela is a small town, or a hill station, located in the Nuwara Eliya District of Sri Lanka. The area is also sometimes called "Little New Zealand". The town is situated approximately 17 km (11 mi) southeast of the district capital Nuwara Eliya. Ambewela is also a service center for the New Galway tea planting district. Ambewela situated en route to the Horton Plains National Park and is famous scenic landscapes, Rhododendron arboretum flowers, and the World's End, which is a 1,219 m (3,999 ft) deep cliff. Similar to Horton Plains and Ohiya, this site is also one of the Important Bird Areas of Sri Lanka, making the area a popular location for bird watching as well. There are a two farms at Ambewela and those are called New Zealand farm and Ambewela farms. New Zealand farm is at 1km from Ambewela and Ambewela farm is at before Ambewela. Rabbits, Cattle, Cows, Pigs, Goats and grasslands, vegetable farm, seed potatoes producing center and the nice reservoir is available on Ambewela farm. No special permission needed to enter Ambewela Farms. At 12:30 PM of every day demonstrates the get cow milk in an electronic machine. The cheese factory, Goat yard and thousands of animals can be seen in Ambewela farms. Largest grasslands of Sri Lanka also a part of Ambewela farms.
