Recently, there is an exciting good news that to celebrate the return of the Dark Portal and the birth of the World of Warcraft Arena, Blizzard will host the TBC Classic Arena Tournament (CAT) next month.
The first Burning Crusade competition has a prize pool of US$30,000, divided into two regions, the Americas and Europe, and will be broadcast on YouTube and Twitch from July 23rd to 25th. The top 10% of all WOW TBC Classic Gold players will also receive the original title of Conqueror, representing your best arena competitors for adventures in Outland.
"Burning Crusade" occupies a special place in the history of competitive World of Warcraft, so Blizzard hopes to show this history and its deep love for the arena and the community built around it over the past 14 years. The event will be full of familiar faces, special guests, and some of the best arena PvP skills that CAT must provide.

Format
The game will be a three-on-three matchup, a two-of-three system or a five-game three-win system, depending on the type of game being played. Registration is open and will end on July 9. To register, you need to go to GameBattles in North America or the European Union. After the registration period is over, the offline group match will be held from July 17th to 18th, and the top eight teams will be determined by a two-win-of-three game.
During the weekend of July 23-25, the top eight teams will compete with each other and have the opportunity to win a larger prize pool and CAT championship title. These games will be broadcast, and the games will be played in a two-win-of-five format. A prize pool of US$30,000 (US$15,000 per region) will be allocated to the top eight teams as follows:
First: US$5,000
Second: USD 3,500
Third place: USD 2,000
Fourth place: USD 1,500
Fifth/6th: $1,000
Seventh/8th: $500
